This Louisville club bills itself as Jokes, Jazz and Magical Evenings. Comedians appear Wednesday through Saturday for spectators who must be at least 18--viewers can be 16 for Sunday shows. On Monday and Tuesday, the club hosts different events, such as jazz and magic shows. Aspiring comedians can attend the Caravan Comedy School, in which comedy veterans give classes for beginners and experienced comedians in stand-up, improvisational and sketch comedy.

The famous Improv Comedy Club started in New York City in the 1960s. Today, the club has branched out to over two dozen locations across the country, including Louisville. The Louisville Improv attracts well-known comedians like Jackie Mason and Sinbad. In addition to big name performers, the club hosts New Faces of Comedy shows for fledgling comedians. The 18-and-over club usually has shows Wednesday through Sunday.
