The club showcases at least eight or more comedians every Friday and Saturday night. It attracts nationally touring talent, as well as local comics from the North Texas area. Several comedians who started at Backdoor found success in the industry, including Johnny Hardwick, the voice of Dale on “King of the Hill,” and JB Cook, who worked as a writer and producer on “My Name is Earl” and “King of the Hill." The club includes an open-mic night on Thursdays and holds "An Introduction to Stand-up Comedy" workshop.
