Connecticut Comedy Clubs

Connecticut residents have many entertainment options. Depending on the location, you can drive to Boston or New York for a night out. The Nutmeg state also has the Mohegan Sun casino and entertainment complex. Comedy fans don't have to cross state lines, however, to see a comic. The state has a handful of locations in which to attend a show or take a lesson on how to become a comedian.
  1. Club Comedy

    • Club Comedy doesn't have a permanent home. Instead, it puts on comedy shows at three locations. It features headliners like comedian Carl Yard, whose credits include opening for Aretha Franklin during a 1999 concert tour. Club Comedy also hosts open mic nights and classes to teach newcomers the craft. All shows are 21 and over, and alcohol is available. A buffet or menu is typically offered.
