    Funny Stop Comedy Club

    • Funny Stop is a one-hour drive to the east, which makes it the closest comedy club to Mansfield. It books new and upcoming comedians, as well as tried and trusted ones who return again and again. Tuesday night is geared toward college students, and on Thursday nights admission is free to military servicemen and servicewomen. Funny Stop also has an open mic night.

    • This club is located in Columbus, which is roughly an hour's drive from Mansfield. Shadowbox is a comedy cabaret club featuring sketch comedy and stand-up, as well as popular music performed by the Shadowbox band. Shadowbox caters to large groups by offering banquets that include a choice of shows, such as the PG-13 show or the Regular Evening Show. Shadowbox also allows groups to build their own show by choosing the styles of comedy they wish to see performed. This club can seat 164 people on the main floor and another 50 people in the balcony section.

    Pickwick & Frolic Restaurant and Club

    • This venue serves as both a restaurant and the site for the Hilarities 4th Street Theatre, which is the country’s largest theater built specifically for comedy. The theater seats 400 people, and also contains eight skyboxes that each seat 8 to 12 people. Each week the theater features eight shows, as well as improv groups and individual performers. Located in Cleveland, which is about 90 minutes from Mansfield, it is an extremely popular destination attracting over 130,000 people annually. According to its website, Hilarities 4th Street Theatre pioneered the revival of Cleveland’s Warehouse District.
