Instructions

    • 1

Connect the "line out" output located on the back of the first channel of the Behringer ADA8000 to the XLR input on the back of the Digi 002 via a standard XLR cable.

    • 2

Connect the "line out" output on the second, third and fourth channels of the Behringer ADA8000 to the second, third and fourth inputs on back of the Digi 002 with standard XLR cables.

    • 3

Plug an XLR male to 1/4" male cable from the fifth "line out" output on the Behringer ADA8000 to the fifth input on the back of the Digi 002. XLR male to 1/4" male cables can be found in most music stores, professional audio and electrical supply shops, as well as through many online retailers.

    • 4

Connect the "line out" output on the sixth, seventh and eighth channels of the Behringer ADA8000 to the sixth, seventh and eighth inputs on the back of the Digi 002 with XLR male to 1/4" male cables.

    • 5

Connect the "optical in" on the back of the Behringer ADA8000 to the "optical out" on the Digi 002 with an optical cable. This will allow you to send digital signals from your Digi 002 unit to the Behringer ADA8000 if desired. This can be useful for sending signals from the Digi 002 to another recording unit, using the ADA 8000 as a preamplifier.

    • 6

Connect the "optical out" next to the "optical in" on the Behringer ADA8000 to the "optical in" on the Digi 002 using a second optical cable. This will allow you to send digital signals from the ADA8000 to your Digi 002, bypassing the analog output stage. This can be useful if you want to connect different preamplifiers to the XLR inputs on the Digi 002 for a particular recording.
