Nightclubs in Athens

Athens is the largest city in Greece and has a rich history spanning thousands of years. It's recognized as one of the oldest cities in the world and boasts a wealth of ancient historical monuments and museums showing artifacts from its rich past. Once you've absorbed the art and culture Athens has to offer during the day, you'll find a selection of vibrant and eclectic nightclubs dotted around the city playing a variety of musical genres.
  1. Half Note Jazz Club

    • The Half Note Jazz Club is recognized as one of Athens' premier jazz venues. It offers a varied menu of styles from contemporary through classical and free form and is the preferred destination for resident and visiting jazz aficionados. It's centrally located, being a five-minute car journey from Syntagma Square, and plays host to both domestic and international performers.

    Cubanita

    • The Cubanita Nightclub opened in 1999 and was designed by Manolis Maridaki. The club has a rotating roster of resident DJs who play a mixture of salsa, reggeatone and Latin rap and hip-hop. The Cubanita also offers regular performances from guest DJs and live bands throughout the year. There's a restaurant above the main club, which can hold up to 75 diners.

    Parafono

    • The Parafono is a popular jazz club that was founded in 1981. It hosts a mixture of established and up-and-coming artists in a small but intimate room seven days a week. The club prides itself on presenting a selection of classical jazz for purists and avoids overly experimental interpretations of the genre.

    Blend

    • Blend puts on a selection of nights featuring some of the biggest international names in electronic dance music. The 700-capacity building plays host to DJs playing techno and tech-house on an impressive sound system. Most perfomances take place on a Saturday, but Blend does offer occasional mid-week events.
