Mounting Instructions for an MST-4B Aluminum Tripod

The Nady MST-4B aluminum tripod is made as a mount for the Nady WA 120 PA amplifier. The tripod is a reinforced aluminum mount with three legs that rest on the ground, helping disperse the weight of the amp. Benefits of using the tripod, besides it being made specifically for the Nady WA 120 PA amplifier, include getting the amp speaker at a greater height so the sounds carries farther and keeping it off any wet, moist ground.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the three telescoping legs on the MSt-4B. Turn each leg barrel a half turn clockwise to lock them out. Pull the center tube up and turn the barrels clockwise until the tube is locked and in the upright position.

    • 2

Lift the Nady WA 120 PA amplifier up, with an assistant. Lift with the knees to prevent back injury. Place the amp so the tripod tube is in the center of the amp. Align the tube's threaded center screw to the amp's screw hole.

    • 3

Turn the amp clockwise until it stops and the screw mount is connected between the tripod and the amp. Turn the tripod to position the amp; do not turn the amp counterclockwise to position the speaker.
