Bricktop is one of Lincoln's main night clubs. The club has an eclectic music policy, from reggae on Monday nights to 80s music on Sundays, encompassing hip hop and electronic music throughout the week. There is a happy hour every day where mugs of beer are $2 and for the brave they serve 4-foot towers of beer.

This lively bar gets very busy on the weekends but during the week it's suitable for a relaxed, quiet drink. They are famous for their signature "Elk Creeks," essentially very large screwdrivers. Be aware that the door staff are strict on dress code; wearing something too casual could mean being denied entrance.

Bodega's Alley is more of a lounge than a club; however they do have theme nights and a daily happy hour. This is definitely one of the swankier venues in Lincoln and there is even an outdoor patio for summer nights. They occasionally have bands performing live; the music policy generally leans towards hip hop.

Zen's has a varied cocktail list (the range of martinis is particularly extensive) and comfortable sofas to lounge around on. Drinks are a bit expensive with a martini being $9; however they do have happy hours that change every so often. A widescreen TV shows normal TV shows rather than sports or music videos and a dart board completes the entertainment.

Barrymore's gets very busy on weekends and the music gets turned up loud. The venue has retained the high ceilings and dark wood from its days as part of a theatre, making it a very attractive place to have a drink. There is in fact still a theatre behind it, ensuring a steady stream of pre and post-theatregoers are in attendance.
