How to Troubleshoot SMG Karaoke

The Singing Machine continues to expand, including reproducing recordings with independent studios. Your Singing Machine comes with a 90-day warranty when you purchase it from an authorized retailer. Check your audio connections and select "Aux In" from the Function Selector for your TV, VCR or home stereo source if you cannot hear any sounds from your TV, VCR or home stereo audio. Locate the provided RCA cables, which come in yellow for video and red and white for audio. Connect the red right and white left audio cables to Audio Out jacks located on the front of your Singing Machine, and then connect the opposite ends of the red and white audio cables to the audio Aux In jacks, usually located on the back of your VCR, TV or home stereo system. Locate the Function Selector on the top left side of the LCD, on the front of your karaoke machine.

Adjust the "Key/Echo" button to 0 if the vocals and music play at a high speed. This key control helps you select the best key for the singer to perform in. Locate the "Key/Echo" button just under the left bottom corner of the LCD on front of your machine. Press the "Key/Echo" button until you see the Key icon light up. Press the "Key/Echo/Folder" plus or minus buttons to adjust the key, which adjusts from -4 to 4. Find the Key/Echo/Folder to the right of the Key/Echo button.
