Go to the All Connect website. Enter any combination of information, such as address, city, state or zip code. In the box labeled "Type of Service," click the arrow next to the words "All Services." Click on TV. Now click on the yellow button that says "Find Services." This will bring up a screen with all of the cable providers in your area. (You can also use this process to find other utility providers, including Internet connections.)
Click on the "Cable TV" tab on AllConnect's page with a list of television providers (notice there are three tabs: All TV, Satellite TV and Cable TV). This will display cable TV providers in your area. On the left will be the different provider names, and the next two columns include information about plans, features and specials. In the last column are prices and fees, which will help you be able to compare plans and prices. You can click the link that says "All Plan Details" under the plan information for more details about the company.
Locate the website and contact information for the cable company you would like to contract with by using an Internet search engine. Call or e-mail the cable company of your choice, or order their services directly through their website.You can also add the cable TV company of your choice to a shopping cart and purchase it through All Connect if you choose.
Submit your zip code online at the Time Warner Cable website, as they are a major cable contractor in the Southern California area. This will display channel lineups and TV listings for the cable packages available in your zip code. You can also call Time Warner at 888-TW-Cable. Call Charter Communications at 877-923-5147 to see if they offer services in your area. They are a major cable provider for Southern California cities. You can call their Chat Live Online to discuss plans and features offered in your area or visit their website for more information. Compare and contrast your options before contracting for services.
