How to Clean Blu-Ray DVDs
Blu-ray discs may hold much more information than normal DVD discs, but they are cleaned in the same manner. Blu-Ray discs have a harder coating than standard DVDs, and should be harder to scratch. However, they can collect dirt and smudges that should be removed as soon as possible to protect the playing quality.
- Soft cloth
- Water
- Possibly Mild Detergent

Pick up the disc by the edge with the fingers of one hand.

Use a lint-free, microfiber cloth to wipe the disc from center out to the edges. Do not wipe them in a circular motion.

If the disc is still not clean, dab a little water on the cloth and repeat the wiping motion.

Let the disc dry completely before attempting to play it or putting it back in its packaging.
