How do I Purchase Equator HD DVDs?

The "Equator" series of films originally aired in 2009 on the Discovery Channel and its nature-oriented affiliate, Animal Planet. The series covers plant and animal life, as well as other spectacles of Mother Nature concentrated around the Equator. After the series' television airing, DVDs of the programs were released and made available for purchase. As of 2011, the DVDs are not sold on Discovery's website or any of its affiliate's websites, such as the Science Channel.

Instructions

      Go to a website that sells DVDs, such as Spun, DVD Empire or Amazon.

      Enter "Equator" into the search bar.

      Click on "Search" or hit the "Enter" key to retrieve all current available "Equator" DVDs.

      Browse the selection of currently available "Equator" DVDs. Some DVDs shown are not the "Equator" DVDs from the Discovery Channel; make sure the DVDs you purchase contain the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet logo on the front of the DVD package, which ensures the DVD is that of the "Equator" series.

      Click on the DVD you wish to purchase and review the website's ordering instructions.

      Fill out the necessary information, including name, address, phone number and credit card number.

      Review the information you entered and make sure it is correct.
