How to Clean DVD Movie Discs

DVDs can be cleaned using items that you’ll likely be able to find around your house. For dirt and grime, cleaning the DVD with rubbing alcohol usually does the trick. For small scratches, furniture polish works well. For more serious scratches, use toothpaste to remove the scratches.
