Instructions

    • 1

Define the outline of your mask with the scissors. Your mask may outline the entire face, the eyes and cheekbones, or follow an asymmetrical outline. It is best the mask covers the eye area for anonymity but the mask can be any shape for decorative purposes.

    • 2

Choose the dominant colors for the mask and decide which sections to fill in with large shapes. You may paint the entire mask one solid color, or divide it in sections. Define the gender of the mask by outlining with attention to the eye area. Allow the paint to dry.

    • 3

Choose the lines and areas in your mask you would like to accent and follow them with small accents. Glue sequins or beads and glitter to the mask in decorative shapes and stripes or swirls to give it a finished look.

    • 4

Spray the mask with craft sealer and allow it to dry. The seal should help adhere the accents to the mask and keep them in place. If the mask does not have an elastic band, adhere a ribbon with the craft glue for wearing and hanging.
