Instructions

    • 1

Place a piece of construction paper flat on a table.

    • 2

Place a mug or cup with a circumference similar to a doughnut in the center of the paper.

    • 3

Trace the outline of the mug or cup onto the piece of paper.

    • 4

Place the smaller cup in the middle of the original outlined oval.

    • 5

Trace the smaller cup oval onto the paper, creating a center or doughnut hole inside the larger oval.

    • 6

Cut out the larger oval from the piece of paper.

    • 7

Cut out the doughnut hole from the paper by inserting the scissors in the center of the hole, and then cutting out to its edges to create the doughnut hole.

    • 8

Color the doughnut with your choice of colors. For example, red would reflect strawberry frosting.

    • 9

Add paste glue lightly to the surface of the doughnut, giving it a glazed look.

    • 10

Sprinkle glitter to represent frosting sprinkles.

    • 11

Tie a piece of string around the center of the hole.

    • 12

Tie the other end of the string around a paper clip.

    • 13

Insert or place the paper clip onto a surface that will allow the doughnut to hang.
