Instructions

    • 1

Create a design for your Greek T-shirt. Open a file in a word processing program on a computer. Type in any words you want to use in your design. Choose a font that you like, including the size and color.

    • 2

Position the cursor where you want to add Greek letters to your design. From the insert pull down menu, select special character. From the special character dialog box, click on the sub set pull down menu. Select Basic Greek. Click on the Greek characters you need one at a time, then click OK`` to put them in your design. Select the size and color of your preference.

    • 3

Add photo, illustration or other graphic elements to your design if you like. From the insert pull down menu, click on picture to add an image to your design. You can choose to add an image from an existing file or from a scanned photo or illustration.

    • 4

Print a copy of your design on paper to see if you like it. Make changes as necessary.

    • 5

Purchase any blank T-shirt you need for your Greek T-shirt. Inexpensive shirts are available at retail stores, but consider buying them from a wholesale distributor like Imprints Wholesale online for the best price and selection.

    • 6

Load an ink jet printer with T-shirt transfer paper. Open your design file and save it as a PDF file. Open the PDF file in Photoshop. From the image pull down menu select rotate canvas. Choose flip canvas horizontal. Print the design on the ink jet transfer paper, printing one for each T-shirt. Ensure that the design prints backwards so that it prints correctly on the T-shirts.

    • 7

Set the iron on high/cotton heat. Place the ink jet transfer paper centered on the T-shirt two inches below the collar for the front, or three inches below the collar for the back. Hold the transfer in place with one hand and iron firmly with the other hand for four minutes, moving the iron around the transfer paper in a circular motion. Remove the backing paper to reveal the finished Greek T-shirt.
