Identify the subject of your vision board. A vision boards can represent a specific, measurable goal, such as completing a marathon on a specific date, or it may represent a more general lifestyle change, such as incorporating a healthier diet over the next few months.
Collect positive images that remind you of your goal. Search magazines for ideas and cut out appropriate photos. Once you narrow your focus, it may be easier to search for and print images from the Internet.
Arrange your images. Depending on your goal, you may want to group your images into categories, arrange them chronologically, or simply scatter them randomly. Place the images on your board in different configurations until you're satisfied with the overall look. As you arrange the images, discard any that seem out of place on your board.
Affix the images to your board, in your chosen arrangement, using glue or mounting tape. If you wish, finish your vision board with inspirational words, titles, or dates related to your goals.
Place your board in a prominent location where you will see it several times a day, reminding you of your goal. Some people choose to put their vision board in their bedroom so they will see it upon waking up and going to sleep every day.
Update your vision board as your goals change or as you reach new milestones. Add new images and remove images that no longer fit your theme.
