What decision does the Claudius make after observing hamlet and ophelia?
After observing Hamlet and Ophelia, Claudius decides to send Hamlet away to England in the company of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. He believes that this will remove Hamlet from the immediate threat to his own position as King and provide him with an opportunity to come to terms with his father's death. Claudius also hopes that the change of scenery will help to improve Hamlet's state of mind and make it easier for him to move on with his life.
