How to Make Opera My Internet Browser

When you click a desktop icon containing a shortcut to a Web page, your default browser will display that page. Software programs that launch browsers also open the one you have chosen as your default. All the major browsers, such as Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer allow you to choose them as your default. If you prefer to use Opera, you can adjust its settings so that it becomes your main Internet browser.

Instructions

    • 1

      Launch Opera.

    • 2

Click "Tools" to display a list of options, and then click "Preferences" to open the "Preferences" dialog window.

    • 3

    • 4

    • 5
