How To Make Mac Opera Work with PDF Files

Opera is a free Web browser, and when you use it to surf the Internet with your Mac, you may visit a website that has a document saved in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF). A site may offer PDF files for documents such as product instructions or government agency forms. While you could click on the link to download the PDF to the downloads folder on your Mac's hard drive, you can also configure Opera to open the document immediately, using Adobe's free Adobe Reader plug-in.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the Adobe website, download the Adobe Reader and install it on your Mac.

    • 2

    • 4
