How to Block Websites on Opera

Preventing certain sites from loading on your computer can help keep employees on task, ensure that malware files are not placed on your computer by malicious websites and make sure your children are safe while browsing the Web. Blocking access to websites from within the Opera Web browser is very simple and can be achieved in a few clicks.

     Open the Opera Web browser.

     Right click in the browser window and select "Blocked Content."

     Click "Details" from the top of the window.

     Click "Add" from the "Details" window.

     Enter the address of the website to block. If you would like to add another website click "Add" again or click "Close" to save your changes.

     Restart the browser to make your changes take effect.
