- Agamemnon's jealousy of Achilles: Agamemnon, the leader of the Greek forces, is jealous of Achilles' superior strength and fighting prowess. He takes away Achilles' prize of war, a young woman named Briseis, which leads to Achilles' anger and withdrawal from the fighting.

- Apollo's jealousy of Poseidon: Apollo and Poseidon are two of the most powerful gods in the Greek pantheon, and they are often at odds with each other. In one instance, Apollo is jealous of Poseidon's control over the sea, and he sends a storm to destroy Poseidon's fleet of ships.

- Eris' jealousy of the goddesses: Eris, the goddess of discord, is jealous of the other goddesses because she is not invited to a feast.
