How to Lock the Playlist Tab on Virtual DJ

Virtual DJ is music production software for both DJs and musicians alike. The Virtual DJ platform enables you to scratch and mix music with the two onboard virtual decks, as well as add in audio and video effects. Virtual DJ software makes the time-consuming process of mixing songs easy by allowing automated beat matching, a computerized beat grid and an onboard looping engine. Creating a locked playlist on the Virtual DJ interface is an easy task and can be done with a few mouse clicks.

      Open the Virtual DJ software or download a free trial version online.

      Scroll down to the "Browser" window and select your music file(s) location from the folders on the left. Drag and drop the selected song(s) to the "Browser" window on the right.

      Organize the selected songs in the order you want them in before you drag and drop them to the left in the "Playlist" window. Expand the "Playlist" window and enable or disable the "Auto Mix" option, which is indicated by a wand located on the left inside the playlist interface.

      Click the "Lock" tab, which is indicated by a padlock, located at the bottom of the playlist window.
