Instructions

  1. Using the Internet

    • 1

Watch the broadcasts to learn about soundtrack promotions. NBC and other partners often offer promotional downloads on the internet. Proceeds or a portion of proceeds from download purchases often go toward supporting Team USA.

    • 2

Visit the NBC Olympic Soundtrack page to access the list of songs used during broadcasts. Purchase and download individual tracks by creating an account with the website. Be sure to check the site while the Olympics are happening, as NBC usually pulls down this page after promotion of the games ends. To find the soundtrack after the Olympics have ended, use iTunes following the steps described in the next section.

    • 3

Visit the websites of NBC's partners, such as AT&T (See References), to download tracks to your cell phone or other mobile device.

    Using ITunes

    • 4

Open the iTunes page on your computer. ITunes can be accessed and downloaded via Apple's Web page.

    • 5

Click the iTunes Store tab beneath the "Store" heading located on the left of the program's screen.

    • 6

Search for the NBC Olympic soundtrack or individual songs using the iTunes search bar located at the top-right corner of the program's window. NBC often offers the Olympic soundtrack in one complete album. However, it is possible to download individual tracks separately. Be sure to download unique, or "NBC Olympic," versions as artists often re-record well-known songs to promote the Olympic games.
