How to Upload Samples to the MPC 1000

The Akai MPC 1000 Production Station is an audio production sampler and sequencer that allows the producer to upload audio clips to the machine. The MPC 1000 top control panel provides the user with several touchpad buttons that are preprogrammed with beats and samples. The production station ships with 16 megabytes of onboard memory, which may be upgraded to 128 MB. In addition, samples and beats may be uploaded to the device in one of two ways: by using the Compact Flash memory card, or by connecting the device to a computer using the provided USB connector cable.
