How to Connect a MPC 1000 to a Computer
The MPC1000 is a music production tool that allows a producer to press touch-sensitive pads to create beats from the stored samples as opposed to having to play the piano, the drums, the trumpet, and other instruments create music. With the MPC1000, everything is right in front of the artist, so his ideas are less likely to be lost in moving from one instrument to another, or waiting for a computer to start up before beginning to make music. One disadvantage of the MPC1000 is that it contains less memory than a computer or other MPCs that have been manufactured. To handle the disadvantage, the MPC1000 can connect to a computer to download or upload samples, or to work with the computer as part of an artist's work station, where the artist can make beats with the MPC1000 and edit them on the computer, and use the computer's speakers for sound, providing great efficiency for such a small machine.
