How To Chop Samples On An MPC 1000

The MPC 1000 is a music production machine that allows you to record, edit and create samples and music sequences. While the MPC 1000 can be used as a master MIDI controller, you also have the option of composing and chopping music samples by editing them. When you chop samples, you have the option of setting the start and end points and deleting unwanted parts of the sample. In order to make changes, you already must have the sample or selected group of samples pre-loaded into the MPC memory bank.
