How to Hook an MPC 1000 to a Receiver

The MPC (Music Production Center) is a series of MIDI-based electronic musical instruments produced by the Japanese company Akai. The first MPC was released in 1988, and since then there have been nine different models put into production. According to Akai, "the MPC1000 inherits all of the essential MPC features such as 32-voice stereo sampling, 64-track sequencing, and 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive MPC pads, fitting all the production capability into a compact, affordable package." Connecting the MPC to a receiver enables the user to hear the sounds on stereo speakers.
