Instructions

    • 1

Load the Sonar LE Cakewalk software CD into your CD or DVD drive and install. When prompted, download and install the latest drivers from Sonar LE.

    • 2

Attach the microphone onto the desk stand that it comes with or onto any other compatible desktop or boom stand. Screw the microphone into the stock stand clip that it comes with, or into the shock-mount if you purchased it.

    • 3

Plug the microphone into the computer via the USB cable connection. As the microphone is USB bus-powered, it draws its power from the computer itself and requires no external power supply.

    • 4

Plug the 1/4 inch instrument cable from your electric instrument (guitars, keyboards or drums etc.) into the microphone, if you wish to do a simultaneous recording of vocals and electric instruments.

    • 5

Plug your headphones into the headphone slot of the microphone if you are doing a vocal or instrumental overdub.

    • 6

Load up the Sonar LE recording software. It should instantly recognize the Samson G-Track. Assign the G-Track to a mixer channel by clicking the channel strip and selecting "audio track". Begin your recording.
