The Stables is a private club with drink specials to draw female clientele a few nights a week. The club has featured bands that play both Southern rock, and classic covers from the 1970s, 80s and 90s. One recent band to perform, the Superswamp Heroes, promises to get your "neck red with the best Southern rock in the area." There's a roomy dance floor complete with a disco ball and lights, and ample seating and tables to set down a drink.

Carolina Nightlife and Grill specializes in country music, and offers a roomy venue to meet friends, dance and have a drink. The club, about an hour's drive from Dillon, South Carolina, hosts live shows on the weekends, and is also known for good steaks, burgers and wings. "Carolina Nightlife has been called one of the most classy and finest bars around," according to its website. The club prides itself on being clean and welcoming, and came in second, in 2008, as Best Venue in the Pee Dee by The Morning News.
The club has hosted Nashville stars such as Rhett Akins, Lee Brice and Jeff Bates, as well as up-and-coming bands. Carolina Nightlife also offers special rates for birthday and bachelorette parties, with deals for groups of 10 or more.

The Saloon is in Columbia's bustling, downtown Five Points area, popular with local college students and other young crowds. It's a country western club that provides both live music and dining.
There are special DJ nights, line dancing and karaoke, in addition to live music on Saturdays. There's a roomy dance floor and plenty of tables and seats.
The drive from Dillion is almost two hours away. It might be wise to book a hotel room for the night, and explore the rest of Five Points the next morning.
The Saloon provides country favorites from the past, such as Hank Williams and Merle Haggard, to the present, Travis Tritt and Toby Keith. It serves both club-type appetizers, such as fry baskets, and full meals, steaks and burgers. As of August 2010, the bar opens daily at 4 p.m. and is open to adults 18 and older.
