How to Upload Mid Files

A MID file is commonly referred to as a MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). It is a type of song file that is created through a MIDI hardware device and contains musical data. In many cases, MID files are used to replicate an original song but do not contain voice information. MID files often sound like keyboard or synthesizer versions of popular songs. Since MID files are considered large files, you may have difficulty uploading and sending them via email. If you want to share your file online, you can choose a free file hosting service to upload your MIDI file.

Instructions

    • 1

Choose a file hosting service that specializes in MIDI file uploads, such as The Midi Shrine, MidiZone or MidiWorld.
