Regarded as one of the first true gay and lesbian clubs in Hawaii, Hula's has been a fixture on the Waikiki scene since 1974 and is internationally known. In addition to nightly entertainment including disc jockeys, the club is also equipped with a full kitchen. Celebrities including Elton John and Dolly Parton have partied here and the atmosphere is boisterous, easy-going and fun.
Another popular gay and lesbian hot spot in Waikiki, Fusion offers two floors of DJs and dancing nightly. It is also well-known for its drag burlesque shows and karaoke rooms. Most bars on the island serve until 2 a.m., but Fusion serves drinks until 4 a.m., making it one of the liveliest late-night clubs in Hawaii.
Angles is a small neighborhood lesbian bar in Honolulu. Opened in 1996, the club has pool tables, dancing, live entertainment, WiFi and an outdoor lanai area. Angles is located off the main strip, making it a bit less of a touristy destination and a good club to choose if you're looking for something casual and laid back.
