Music Festivals near Stratton, Maine

Maine is known as "Vacationland," and there are many fairs and festivals throughout the state. Most music festivals take place in the summer months due to Maine's harsh winters. Stratton, Maine is located in Franklin County, which was named after Benjamin Franklin, and although there are no music festivals in the town of Stratton, Franklin County has a couple to offer.
  1. The Kingfield Pops

    • The Kingfield Pops is one of Maine's biggest music festivals. It's in Franklin County and takes place in June. It's a combination of classical, traditional and folk musicians playing together throughout the day. It's a family friendly event that ends with a fireworks display in the evening. Concert tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

    Outdoor Concert Series

    • In Franklin County during the summer months there is a free outdoor concert series featuring different musical acts every Tuesday. It takes place at the Meetinghouse Gazebo in Meetinghouse Park.

    Carrabassett Summer Festival

    • The Carrabassett Summer Festival in the Carrabassett Valley in Franklin County started in 2007 and features local crafts like jewelry, pottery and sculpture. It's held every year in August, and music from local artists in a variety of genres are a big feature of this festival. Food and beverages are available.
