How to Make Music Beats With Microsoft Windows

Not every budding musician can afford to buy time in a recording studio or purchase music beats from professional music producers. Luckily, there are several applications available for Microsoft Windows that allow you to create your own music beats. Using one of these applications, you can create drum loops using the included drum sounds or, if you wish, you can add your own sounds and use them for your beat.

Purchase FL Studio. As of June 2010, the most current version is FL Studio 9. This application is a more robust way to create music beats and allows you to use drum loops as well as other instruments. Using FL Studio 9, you could create an entire song.

Buy and install Magix Music Maker. This program is similar to FL Studio 9 in that it allows you to go beyond simple drum-based beats. You can add many other types of instruments to your Music Maker project and even export your results to MP3.
