Place a few drops of Brasso onto a soft cloth.
Rub the soft cloth on the CD’s surface using a radial motion until the scratches start to disappear. Apply more Brasso during this process if necessary.
Clean the CD with water when finished to remove any excess Brasso residue.
Place the CD in a computer, stereo, or portable CD player to test the results. You have now successfully fixed a damaged CD.
Put some toothpaste onto a soft cloth.

Take the peel of a banana and repeat this process.
Clean the surface of the CD using a soft cotton cloth, rubbing the waxy residue of the banana into the scratches on the CD's surface. Then spray glass cleaner onto the CD and use a clean cloth to dry the CD.
