How to Add Music to a CD

Adding music to a CD is as simple as importing the music into an audio software program, creating the list of music you would like to add to a CD and burning that music to a blank CD-R. This task can easily be done on any Windows based computer with a free audio program called Windows Media Player that is installed on every Windows based computer.

Drag the music files you imported from the Windows Media Player library into the “Burn List,” which will appear in a column on the right-hand side of the “Burn” tab inside Windows Media Player. When you have finished adding music to the “Burn List,” insert a blank CD-R into your computer and click “Start Burn.” When the burn process is complete, eject the CD from your computer.
