How to Add Album Art to Tracks

Album artwork can tell you a lot about the music that you listen to, but in the age of digital music we don’t often have the same access to those images as we once did. You can use music organizer software to upload images of the album covers to your music library in order to identify your tracks more easily. Certain devices also allow you to transfer this album artwork to your personal MP3 player.

Search for album artwork using a database such as Albumart.com or Album Cover Art Gallery by typing in the band name and/or album title, or by browsing alphabetically. Copy the image so that you can transfer it to your music organizer.

Highlight the track for which you would like to add album art. Right-click the song and choose "Get Info." This will open a window containing detailed descriptions of the song, including artist, album title and date.

Paste the image into the blank square labeled "artwork." Choose "OK" to save your work.
