How to Use a Mic on Mixcraft

The Mixcraft digital audio software lets you record a theoretically unlimited number of audio tracks in its multi-track recording interface. Recording multiple tracks allows you to apply specific effects to each track, then mix down the tracks into one audio file. Connecting a mic to Mixcraft allows you to record your own voice or an acoustic instrument into the software, then apply editing and effects as needed. For the best results, use a good-quality mic and cable for recording in Mixcraft.

Instructions

Plug the microphone into the "Mic" jack on your sound card. Launch Mixcraft. Click the "Record Yourself or Your Band" icon.
