How to Use a MIDI Controller in Mixcraft

Mixcraft is a digital-audio recording program developed by Acoustica. Using Mixcraft, you can record vocals, guitar, drums, bass and other instruments. If you want to simulate all of these types of instruments and more in Mixcraft, you can use a MIDI controller, a device that, essentially, turns your computer into a synthesizer. Acoustica designed Mixcraft with MIDI in mind, so recording with a MIDI controller is no more difficult than recording any other audio.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect your MIDI controller to your computer via USB.

    • 2

      Open Mixcraft.

    • 3

      Click on "File," then "Preferences."
