How to Control the Mic Volume on a Mix Pad

MixPad is a multitrack music recording software program by NCH Software. MixPad allows you to record live instruments, import audio files, add effects, burn new music onto a CD and mix more than 100 tracks at one time. You can record live from a microphone on MixPad, but you can't adjust the mic volume until after the recording is done.

Instructions

    • 1

Click on the "Track" menu on the menu bar. Select "Add Track."

    • 2

Click on the track once it appears on the left side of the screen. Select the "Track" menu again and choose "Audio Options."

    • 3

Click on "Device" to choose your microphone. Click "OK" when finished.

    • 4

Click the "Rec" button on the track to arm the track for recording.
