Open your "Arrange" window in Logic Pro. Click "Window" on the Logic Pro menu bar at the top of the screen and select "Arrange" from the list of options that appears.
Adjust your master volume, which serves as your main volume for the project. The master volume fader appears in the left column of your "Arrange" window, near the bottom, and looks like a vertical line with round slider attached. You will see two volume faders side by side, one indicating track volume and the other indicating master volume. The master volume fader is on the right. Move the master volume slider upward to raise the volume, and move it downward to lower the volume. To make the adjustment, just click the slider with your mouse and drag it in the direction you desire.
Select any blank track by clicking its name in the left column of your "Arrange" window. Each track has a name such as "Audio 1" and "Inst. 1," and appears as a long horizontal bar in your window. Each track holds different recordings. For instance, a professional musician might record drums on one track and guitars on another track, while recording vocals on a third track. To adjust the volume of an individual track, as part of your mixing process, click the track title once, and adjust the volume fader that appears directly to the left of the master volume fader.
Click "Window" on the menu bar and select "Mixer" from the drop down window to open your "Mixer" window, which contains your main multi-track mixer.
Adjust the volume fader on each track to adjust track volume levels in the "Mixer" environment. Your tracks on the mixer will appear in the same order as in your "Arrange" window, except they appear vertically rather than horizontally. To adjust your master volume from the mixer, adjust the fader on the far right, on the track that reads "Output 1-2" or "Master."
