Locate the VGA input female jack on the LCD projector. Remember, the male jack is the side with the pins, while the female jack is the side with the holes. Consult your manual for the exact location on your model, but it is usually located on the back of the projector.
Connect the male end of the VGA monitor cable to the VGA input female jack. Connect the other end of the VGA monitor cable to the monitor output jack on your computer. The computer is ready for projecting through the LCD projector.
Locate the RCA input jack on the LCD projector, and connect the yellow male plug on the RCA video/audio cable to that jack.
Look for the white and red jacks beside the RCA input jack. These are the audio and video jacks. Plug the red plug into the red jack, and the white plug into the white jack.
Connect the other end of the RCA cable jacks to the VCR or DVD device's output jacks by connecting the yellow RCA plug to the video output jack, and connect the white plug into the white jack beside the video output jack on the VCR or DVD. Connect the red plug into the red jack on the VCR or DVD. The VCR/DVD device is now ready to be used through the LCD projector.
Locate "On/Off/Standby" button on the remote, and click it. The LCD projector comes on. The lamp slowly illuminates the images coming from the computer, DVD player or VCR, and shows the images on the screen.
Press the "Standby" button on the remote, and the lamp goes off. This makes your lamp bulb last longer, and it comes back on quickly after the initial start-up.
Move the image on the screen. Press the left/right arrow buttons, and the projected image moves to the left or right on the screen centering the image. Press the up/down arrow buttons, and the image moves up or down centering the image on the screen.
Adjust the image. Press the "Focus" button, and the projected image gets sharper. Press the "Zoom +" button, and the image gets larger. Press the "Zoom -" button, and the image gets smaller.
Press the "Volume +" or "Volume -" for sound adjustment. Press the "Mute" button if you need instant silence on the volume.
Press the "Input" button, and select the device you want viewed through the LCD projector. Click the "Input" button on the remote control until it goes to the appropriate device (computer, VCR or DVD player), and click enter. The devices connected to the LCD projector are listed by a number. For example, if the laptop computer is connected to the LCD projector on the input jack marked "1," it is device "1." If the VCR is connected to the LCD projector input jack marked "2," it is device "2." If you want the VCR, you would click the "Input" button on the remote control until "2" shows up on the screen, and click enter on the remote control.
