How to Draw Chibi Grimmy

The "Bleach" character Grimmjow, often called Grimmy, wears a white and black jacket and pants. Defined by his light-blue hair and aqua eyes, Grimmjow looks laid-back and aloof. To highlight Grimmy's casual appearance rather than his explosive temper, draw a chibi Grimmy. Chibi drawings are similar to traditional drawings but offer a more cartoonish, adorable appearance. Chibi's are defined by their short, thin bodies, large heads and enormous eyes.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw a circle near the center of the paper. Under the circle, draw a short square with no base. Connect the right side of the square to a short, horizontal line that slopes downwards. Connect the left side of the square to a short, horizontal line that slopes downwards.

    • 2

Extend the lines of the shoulders into thin arms. Extend the right shoulder's line into a long line that bends outwards at the middle. At the end of the line, draw the top two-thirds of an oval. Connect the other side of the oval to a line parallel to the first line. Draw the left arm on the other side.

    • 3

Draw the lines of the chest. The right line of the chest should sit just under the center of the shoulder and extend downwards. At the bottom of the chest, draw a waistband. Draw the left line of the chest on the other side of the body.

    • 4

Thicken the waistband by turning the line into a rectangle. Draw a vertical line on the right side of the waistband. This line should extend outwards. At the bottom of the line, draw a horizontal line that extends to the center of the body. Connect this line to a vertical line that extends to the bottom of the crotch. This creates the right leg of Grimy's pants. Draw the left leg on the other side.

    • 5

Draw the jacket. Draw a curved line that extends from the inside edge of the shoulder to the outside edge of mid-chest. Connect the end of the line to a short horizontal line. Draw a short vertical line at the edge of the horizontal line. When the vertical line reaches the arm pit, draw an outline from the armpit to the top of the shoulder. Draw the other side of the jacket.

    • 6

Add facial features. Draw a curved, horizontal line just above the bottom edge of the face. Draw a parallel line just above this line and connect the edges with a sloping vertical line. This creates the mouth. Draw an oval slightly thinner than it is long to represent the eye. Erase the top of the oval and replace it with a horizontal line that slopes inwards. Draw the other eye. Draw two sloping lines for the eyebrows over the oval.

    • 7

Draw a vertical line on the right side of the face. Connect this line to a series of spikes that extend counter-clockwise. End the spikes at the bottom-left edge of the head. Draw a curved horizontal line at the top edge of the face. This line should curve towards the middle of the face. When this line reaches the left edge of the face, connect it to a curved vertical line. This creates the hair line.
