Draw a circle. Place your pencil on the left edge of the circle and move it toward the right. Draw a line that extends from just below the top of the circle to beyond the bottom of the circle. Move your pencil just below the horizontal center of the face. Draw a horizontal line.
Place your pencil just below the horizontal line, on the left side of the line. Draw a lengthened almond shape. Move your pencil toward the inner-edge of the shape. Draw a circle at the top corner of the eye. Draw the other eye on the right side of the face.
Draw the nose along a vertical line. The line should consist of a long vertical line that bends to a short, diagonal line. Under the nose, draw a flat line. Draw short, diagonal lines that extend from the horizontal line to represent the wrinkles of the mouth. Draw a short, diagonal line that extends from just above the right side of the mouth to just beyond the right edge of the nose. Draw another line on the other side. Under the eyes, draw curving lines that look like the bottom-left edge of an oval.
Add hair and ears to the head. Draw the hairline slightly above the eyes. The hairline should look like a widened upside-down "V." Extend the edges of the "V" into vertical lines that follow the edge of the face. Draw a circle above the hairline to represent the top of the hair.
Draw the body. Draw two short, vertical lines under the head to draw the neck. Connect the back of the beck to a vertical line that rounds at the top. Draw this line down the entire length of the body. Draw the front lines of the body. Connect the front line of the neck to a line that rounds at the top and falls into a vertical shape. Connect these two lines with a horizontal line. Add feet under the horizontal line by drawing two small ovals.
