Let dancing be your relaxing "me" time. Give yourself a dancing break and just enjoy yourself. Allow yourself to dance with passion and joy. Know that you deserve it and just let go of all your troubles. Make dancing a time when you escape from reality.
Think positive and dance like you are the best dancer on the dance floor. Push out any negative thoughts that dare to dance into your mind, and fill them with positive thoughts. Be carefree when you dance, do not let fear hold you back. Dance like no one is watching. Set your mind on you and your passionate dancing, not what other people think. Know that you can only control what you think, not what other people think.
Practice your dance moves over and over again. Knowing all of your dance moves by heart will cause you to dance passionately because you will be confident and truly be able to just listen to the music.
Watch yourself dance in a full-length mirror. Look at how you present yourself. Watch your facial expressions and posture. How you present yourself exudes passion and confidence. Make sure to smile, even if you mess up a move during your performance. No one will even know, usually just you, so smile.
