Bend your glow-sticks to release the chemicals that make them glow. Turn off the lights. Turn on the music. Feel the beat.
Hold a glow-stick in each hand and wave your arms to the beat.
Wave your arms in a figure eight pattern.
Spin your body with your arms outstretched, holding a glow-stick in each hand.
Wave the glow-sticks as if directing traffic. Spin one glow-stick over your head in a circular motion while waving the other in front of your face like a windshield wiper.
Affix a length of string to the end of your glow-stick. Do not attempt this unless your glow-stick has a hole through which you can tie the string and knot it securely.
As the music starts spin the glow-stick in a circular motion at the end of the string.
As you spin the glow-stick, switch the string to your other hand.
Let the string wrap around your forearm and reel the glow-stick in like a yo-yo.
Repeat with two glow-sticks for double the effect.
Hand a friend two glow-sticks (either on a string or off).
Spin your glow-stick in unison with your partner.
Stand back to back with your partner as you spin your glow-sticks.
Gather as many friends as you can and repeat.
If you gather enough friends (or willing strangers) you can make a glow-stick train.
