How to Recycle Cookbooks

If you love to cook, you probably have several cookbooks that you no longer use. These may be books that you’ve grown tired of or books that have become stained. Did you know that there were several great ways to recycle cookbooks? It’s true. You can turn an old edition into something completely new. You can even salvage those that you have simply grown tired of. In just a few easy steps, you can recycle your unused collection into something you’ll actually use.

      Find someone to trade with. If you have cookbooks that you have grown tired of, recycle them into new books. This is really easy to do. All you have to do is go online and find a book trading site. Believe it or not, there may be several people waiting to get their hands on the cookbooks you’ve grown tired of. Once you mail out the cookbooks, you’ll receive credits to order even more books.

      Donate them. One of the best ways to recycle cookbooks is to donate them. You can recycle cookbooks that are slightly used, but it’s best to donate your newer cookbooks. This allows others to get a chance to read these editions at a more affordable price. Best of all, you’ll feel good knowing that your old favorites are going to a good home.

      Create art. If you have cookbooks that are horribly stained on the inside, you can recycle them into art. Remove the pages so that you are left with the cover of the book.
