How to Make Origami Ragdoll Cats

An origami rag doll cat has pointier ears and a squarer face than a typical origami cat. A car is an easy origami project for those who are unfamiliar with origami practices. You can customize your cats by using different colored or textured paper. Origami cats make great decorations for cards or ornaments. You can use multiple colors or decorate your cats with stickers or drawings to add variety to your origami cats.

      Fold the square in half, diagonally. Position the paper so that the non-colored side is facing up. The longest leg of the triangle should face your body.

      Create a crease. Form the triangle in half by pressing one side of the triangle into the other. Unfold the triangle.

      Form the ears. Fold the right side of the triangle so that the right edge hits the center crease. The fold should be a narrow triangle. Repeat this process on the left side.

      Create the head. Press the original triangle's tip over, so that the tip becomes a flat edge.

      Turn the origami rag-doll cat over so that you can see the head of the cat.
