Craft Shows in North East Ohio

Craft Festivals are held across the country and throughout the state of Ohio year round. Craftsmen from around the country exhibit their original work at these festivals that have become a tradition across the U.S. Entering in a craft show requires an application.
  1. Beachwood-Lyndhurst Art Festival

    • The downtown streets of Legacy Village in Cleveland are filled with exhibit tents during its annual Art Festival in June. Shop for handcrafted jewelry and pottery, sculpture and more. Started in 1990, this festival offers live music, food and drink stalls and free parking. Over 150 artists share their work at this festival.

    Art by the Falls

    • Every June, at Riverside Park in Chagrin Falls, this juried Arts and Crafts Festival is presented by the Valley Arts Center. Begun in 1983, this festival offers visitors a weekend of art and entertainment with textiles, glass work, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, painting and drawing. A raffle for as many as 100 works of arts from participating artisans is available, as prizes is an added draw.

Great Trail Arts and Crafts Festival

    • In 1981, the city of Malvern held the first successful festival, paying homage to American folk art and the American Colonial Period. Contemporary and country crafts offer a great day of shopping. Kettle-cooked foods and period music add color to an unusual venue that takes place on two consecutive weekends in August and September.

    Lakewood Arts Festival

    • The City of Lakewood closes off Main Street in the downtown area to host the annual Lakewood Arts Festival. One hundred sixty artists exhibit original arts and crafts during a weekend in August. Ceramics, metals, fibers and jewelry are available for viewing and for purchase in this festival, begun in 1977. Musical entertainment is scheduled throughout each day, and all profits are put toward a scholarship fund for a local student pursuing a degree in fine arts.
