How to Submit Postage Stamp Designs
Postage stamps commemorate important people and events in a country's history. Submitting a design for a stamp in America is not difficult, but selection is competitive due to the prestige of having your design accepted. The United States Postal Service (USPS) has a Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee that chooses designs for stamps. It is composed of government officials and art directors who oversee the production of new lines of stamps and ensure that those stamps follow the regulations set out by the USPS.
